THE FILMMAKER
Vahn Leinard C. Pascual is a young and dedicated Filipino film director, producer, writer, and actor. Born on April 30, 2000, he is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Digital Filmmaking at De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde. Despite being a student, Pascual has already created a diverse portfolio of over twenty short films that have received positive recognition at various international film festivals. His works often delve into important themes, particularly those related to politics and the queer community.Pascual's passion for storytelling and unique artistic approach have garnered him praiseas a promising emerging director. Notable works, including "Sina Alexa, Xander at ang Universe," "Silang mga Naligaw sa Limot," and "Alingasngas ng mga Kuliglig," have been appreciated by audiences. Additionally, Pascual's animations, such as "Blue Is Not My Favorite Color" and "Ang mga Sisiw sa Kagubatan," have received acclaim and recognition in various film festivals. Beyond filmmaking, Pascual has also showcased his talent as an actor in both films and short films, allowing him to explore various aspects of his creative journey.

DIRECTOR'S STATEMENT
The film's central theme revolves around the transformative power of friendship
and the strength that arises from understanding and supporting one another. Despite
the diversity of their backgrounds and life experiences, Mary and Josie find solace and
empowerment in their connection. Their journey to Manila is not just a physical one; it
represents an emotional and psychological voyage as they grapple with their own
identities and societal expectations.
